Your excellent article on Marilyn Hyland, who's running for Hamilton County Commissioner, is right on target ("Hyland Flings Herself into the 2000 County Commission Race," issue of Dec. 16-22).

We voters who approved the sales tax to pay for Mike Brown's stadium did not mean to include three - count 'em, three - practice fields, total control over our riverfront and shelling out our dollars to pay for any unsold tickets.

Bob Bedinghaus has to take the blame for this giant giveaway, and Marilyn Hyland is the person to see that the voters remember that in November. It's pay-back time, big time, for this horrendous mistake.
